Product Description:
The TAXS-8CW Automatic Changeover Regulator is designed to regulate the pressure of liquefied petroleum gas (LP gas). It is an integrated two-stage regulator that combines both first-stage and second-stage regulation into a single unit. This regulator effectively reduces the pressure of highly pressurized LP gas and ensures that combustion devices receive gas at the correct pressure.
In the event that the LP gas supply from the service side fails to maintain the correct pressure, the regulator’s automatic changeover function seamlessly switches to the reserve side to supply supplementary gas. Additionally, the TAXS-8CW regulator incorporates a switch interlocked with a “Red” display signal. This signal activates when the gas supply from the reserve side begins, indicating that the reserve side is now operational and the supply side has been depleted. This mechanism sends a signal to an automatic notification device to alert users of the changeover.
Part Names :
Changeover Handle: Used for manual resetting and switching between gas supplies.
Inlet Connection: Where the LP gas enters the regulator.
Indicator Window: Displays the operational status (e.g., “Red” for reserve side active).
Vent: Allows for the release of excess pressure or gas.
Lot Number: Identification number for the specific regulator unit.
Outlet Connection: Where the regulated gas exits the regulator and is directed to combustion devices.
When selecting a TAXS-8CW regulator, ensure that you choose the model with the capacity best suited to the LP gas consumption requirements of your equipment. The available models include TAXS-8CW(8A) and TAXS-8CW(15A), among others, to accommodate different gas consumption levels.
